Beautiful in Color

Journaling: It's no secret that I LOVE black and white photos. In fact the minute I took this picture I couldn't wait to see how it would look as a black and white. But between Marcus's piercing blue eyes and the beautiful red flowers, I couldn't do it. This is one photo that has deemed itself strikingly artistic in color.

Walk Beside Me

Journaling: Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Walk beside me and be my friend.

Anticipation

Journaling: As soon as you found out you made the dance competition team, you began counting the days until the dance routine list would be posted. On the morning it was posted, you woke up at 6:30am and asked if we could go look. You were VERY excited to find out you were placed in not one but THREE routines.

Ballet Shoes

Journaling: She's outgrown her first ballet shoes! How many more will we go through? Will she dance as a profession and go through hundreds of pairs? Or is this a phase, a hobby, and we will only purchase two or three? The wonderful part of parenthood is that I don't have to decide. I can just sit back, guide, advise, and see what beautiful story unfolds.
